Dear Savannah Bird,
This is a demand for payment on your obligation for $841.78. Due to non‑payment on your contractual obligation, you are hereby notified of a lien on the property contained in storage unit #198 located at
Mountain View Storage (639 East Highway 193, Layton, Utah 84040).
The lien sale is scheduled to take place on July 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
-
Locks are removed and the unit secured. The unit contains: tools and miscellaneous items.
-
Notification will be sent to you and the Davis County Sheriff’s Department via certified letter to your last known address two weeks from today’s date.
Receipt of the notice is not required for the lien to proceed. My obligation is only to attempt notification of the tenant listed above and not to locate any other individuals who may have items stored in the unit.
-
You have the right to bring your account current, including all charges up to the lien date, to prevent the sale of your unit’s contents.
-
All monthly invoices and late fees must be paid—or mutually agreed‑upon repayment terms established—before the lien will be canceled.
Payments made in the final days before the lien may also require attorney and advertising fees. Partial payments are not required to be accepted; arrangements must be made with myself and kept as agreed.
-
You will not be allowed to attend the sale of the property and therefore cannot bid on any items for sale.
-
Utah law allows reasonable costs for collection of outstanding debts. These costs are added to the original balance.
If the sale of contents does not satisfy the debt, additional collection, court, and disposal fees will apply.
Notice: This is not an auction but a lien sale of items for recovery of lost revenues per Utah Statutes (38‑8‑3).
